Springbank Park "Restore it's Beauty"
This is Londons biggest asset for tourism, Lets restore the gardens this year and promote this as one of Southwestern Ontaio's best parks.
At 300 acres, Springbank Park is the largest park in London. On 30 kilometers of trails, visitors find everything from naturally wooded areas to perfectly manicured formal gardens. One of the city's most popular spots for runners and roller bladers, the park is also home to picnic areas, soccer fields, a wading pool and the well-known attraction Storybook Gardens. The recently opened Springbank Gardens, a restoration of the popular 1940s park attraction Wonderland Gardens, includes an open-air pavilion and bandshell that are used for concerts and other park events.
Facilities at Springbank Gardens are available for private events. Springbank Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free

Agreed! The natural areas are beautiful and should be promoted to get more people moving into the area and visiting!

Springbank is a great park and you're quite right, more could be done to promote and enhance our largest park.

I love the idea too. But there was a restaurant in Springbank, on the water wasn't there? What happened to that place?

I love the natural side of the river, but I agree with city planners that a few attractions in the urban areas...like the Forks or Springbank...would draw more people to one of the few unique things about the city.
