I think we should be either renovating old buildings or at the worst building new buildings downtown, instead of paving over more farmland.

Newer buildings are cleaner and more up to code. If builders can build new and lease for less money, let it be so.
Downtown London has nothing historic enough to preserve. Let's live in the future not the past..............

New construction can compliment renovations to old, more interesting buildings. Both new construction and renovations to older buildings need to happen hand in hand.
