Clean up our rivers, and USE them. A boat ride to Springbank from the forks once more would be nice.
It is time to clean up our river and look at it as something that we can enjoy instead of run away from. If we could get people to come out and take rides on our rivers...we'd have something once again.

it used to be, not sure since the dams went up but it is something to look at none the less. if no boat, then how about something that works at the TOP of the water surface
A water "taxi" service would be a neat thing to do

Is the Thames River even deep enough to accommodate a boat like that? In the summer months the river gets down really low. A few years ago Harris Park was so bad that you could walk from one side of the river to the other!
