An error occurred while saving the comment Kimber B commentedWhy build a new City Hall? Maybe because half of city hall isn't IN city hall, and we are in buildings all over town and paying for the priveledge. The current building is also NOT very accessible for anyone in a wheelchair. There are only two accessible bathrooms, one on 11 and one in parking. What about a new vibrant state of the art City Hall we can all be proud of, and make it a multi use building?

Every workplace is smoke free. If you smoke where you shouldn't and I run into you, I will probably end up in the hospital. "Just sayin"

More people visiting the core to visit those Non profit resources. Has my vote, filling up downtown with vibrant clean facades will help bring others.

The idea of free parking in London’s downtown is a good one. It could bring people to the city’s core and encourage the commerce business owners need. LFP will explore the pros and cons of this divisive issue in the weeks to come.
An error occurred while saving the comment Kimber B commentedI agree Nathan. If you want people to stop and shop, you have to be able to park. Especially if you are a person with a disability that can't get there as a pedestrian, or have children and that makes it hard to walk very far. Free parking means we can stop and enjoy. It would be wonderful even if it were just in certain places where we need more traffic to the stores.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kimber B commentedI am not disabled, but I am a person with a disability and I can not walk. I would appreciate it if there were places not only to park, but definitely for transit to drop off people with challenges so we can be part of downtown. There are already a TON of places we can't even get into the front door of with a wheelchair. Either there is a small step, or there is so much stuff at the door, no way.

I know the Mayor made comments to the press about them not putting that atrocity back up. The issue is, unfortunately, that there is no bylaw preventing that thing from being on the sidewalk.
We need to reach out to our Councillors and tell them we need change.
