Fully agree.Often we have to clarify our Canada London which is generally assumed as UK London . It will dignify its status as Canada city . Suggest, GO FAST. Various suggestions should be invited for new identity. My suggestion LONGREEN (London + GREEN)

The question is not, "what would you rename London?", please stay focused. You can support the initiative to "change the name of London to KLondon" or you can start a new thread of your own with your suggested name. Let us not confuse the issue.

How about Forest City? There's only one other place named that in Canada; it's in New Brunswick and according to wikipedia had a population of 12 in 2001.

Set your default location to London ON in Google. That way all you have to do is type in an address (525 Dundas Street London ON for example) and it will point right to Beal Sec. At least that's how it works on Firefox, not sure about IE.

A fair number of Canadian municipalities are named by emigrants to recall their origins. "London", however was just dropped on the land and we are stuck with it. Other secondary Londons have a modifer. Since we also got the river name, how about London Parva ??

This seems like a perfectly reasonable request considering that Paris, ON recently changed their name to MParis.
