An error occurred while saving the comment Trevor commented@jadey - check out the Western Fair farmer's market if you haven't yet. It kinda splits the difference between 'real' farmers at Trails End and the yuppy farmer's market at Covent Garden.
@greg - I agree - When London did not become the capital of Upper canada, it was settled as an administrative centre for the (farming-rich) region.

How about Forest City? There's only one other place named that in Canada; it's in New Brunswick and according to wikipedia had a population of 12 in 2001.
