  1. I believe if anyone labels an entire urban area, a place with a population greater than 350,000, dull and boring, the person is revealing themselves as dull and boring.

  2. It's a pain to have to drive for 25 minutes to do something extra special with a family. West London has Adventures on Wonderland, Kidscape, Storybook Gardens, the Aquatic Center, Springbank Park. What does East London have? Kiwanis Park - yehaw! Bring in something to entertain the families of East London so we don't have to drive all over the place. Give us something fun!

  3. Western and Fanshawe students, arguably the LTC's best customers shouldn't be paying to wait.

I've had countless times where trips to University for important meetings, assignments, due dates, etc were botched because the bus was full or late.

    So frustrating.

If the LTC is incapable of serving us, the customers, we deserve a refund for each trip they fail to provide.

  5. City Hall needs to change the main focus of UWO's research and development toward local ventures instead of international. More than just "encourage" linkages between London businesses and UWO, Ivey and local hospitals, it's time to convince them of who is paying a large portion of the bills. London industry deserves to be first the list of potential partners, not the last resort. This idea will be received with shock and awe!

  7. Get Impark's monopoly under control. Downtown workers are being severely gouged and considering we are the only people who shop downtown (due to lack of parking) we need to be cut a break so we can spend more money at stores in the core rather than on ashphalt spaces run by an uncaring company. Parking rates have increased by 40-50% since 2007. My lot has gone from $69.00 incl taxes in June 2007 to $118 for June 2011. Impark's lots are poorly maintained and managed. The only thing they fix is broken cash collector machines and ticket issuing machines

  8. London has lost it's appeal in many ways. The atmosphere, the activities and the people are not quite as friendly. London has become rough around the edges. Population has risen and we've become crowded and congested. Life is tough enough, bring the spunk back to London and restore people's faith in our city.

  10. The petting farm set up during the fair is always packed. So why not set one up for weekends because what children or family doesnt enjoy interacting and seeing farm animals. It can also be used to display the farming/agricultural industry from around London/Middlesex county...

  11. london needs to do something with the traffic lights, maybe synchronize them? that could help people running red lights, help traffic flow, and gas use. Maybe more over/under passes for trains, 20 minutes for a train at 5 pm is terrible.

  12. The name of this city needs to be refreshed, there's too much confusion between London Ontario and London England. The name "New London" would allow London to be more distinctive while keeping its history. I can just read it I'm from N.L. Ontario. :-)

  13. London is a much "cleaner" industrial town as compared to Sarnia or Hamilton. Medical, University and College resources are significant employers. Good city to live in and raise kids. Need to increase green space especially with new developments to try to reduce increased temperature from all the roads and pavement.

  14. How about something that reports the REAL news and not just what's decided by the owners and politicians. Pick up a Scene magazine or even a METRO to see how it's done. Not by having a skewed view and appealing to people in power, but actually a newspaper for the citizens of this town. Who's London?? Trying to put a spin on this city with it's constant construction, stupid metallic trees, spendthrift politicians and outdated traffic light system? Forget it!

  15. Covent Garden Market is smaller than it was and has lost the diversity and realism the old market had. All the fruit and veg stands are from the same family so there's no choice there. The Western Fair market is so much more vibrant. It's great to have a farmer's market out in the sweating heat and sun a couple of days a week but otherwise it's a yuppie's dream. There is no reason that the Market can't do the job of a grocery store except we need to make some big changes to make ownership more diverse so there…

  16. I understand what happened last St. Paddy's Day; however, there seems to be a touch of upper handedness going on there in London. We're not from small town Ontario so get the drift; however, one does get much more cooperation with honey!

  17. Collector's Item: Lil Peep Angry Girl Converse Sneaker Shoe Rubber Insole and Canvas Lining Material are used in the construction of this shoe at (https://lilpeepmerch.net/product-category/shoes/). This indicates that the shoe is made out of both materials. The Lil Peep Sneaker Shoe is still a fan favorite among diehard Lil Peep fans.

  19. Once the snow melts we need to get crews in to clean up the garbage that has been hidden under the snow. Westminster ponds is filthy right now. Wellington from Southdale to downtown is disgusting. Downtown London looks as though it was cleaned up quickly, but what about the rest of the "forest city" ???

I would gladly volunteer to help clean this up and I think that others should as well.
